Betty Laws Smith Betty Laws Smith has eclectic interests that range from fire glazed clay, collages, and watercolors, to acrylic and pastels. "Art includes more than the eye observes: I want to express feelings, ideas, and the inner excitement of color, line, and textures. Working with different media stimulates the creative urge within me." Betty's wide selection of works reflects originality and distinguishes her from other artists. She graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Art Education and taught children for eight years at both the Fine Arts Museum and the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston, Texas. Betty’s work is displayed at Gallerie 110 in Gainesville, Georgia. |
