Lydia Ferguson

Deriving inspiration from family, friends, memories, and travel, Lydia Ferguson’s compositions range from sentimental memorabilia to the vibrant streets of Italy. Lydia’s paintings capture the glorious effects of light on her subjects.

Lydia’s artwork reveals a moment or a treasured item from her life. One painting in particular is of her first pair of ballet shoes. The soft colors and silk-like texture reveal Lydia’s sentiment and attention to detail. “Those were my first pair of ballet shoes. They must be over fifty years old, they’re antiques!”
