SUMMER ART CLASSES SUMMER ART CLASSES USING ACRYLICS - FOR KIDS with Linda Blount and Patti Russell Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: JULY 19, 20, 21 (3 sessions) Morning Class - Ages 6-8 10:00am – 12:00noon – 3 sessions - $50 fee; $10 supply fee Afternoon Class - Ages 9 + 1:30pm – 4:00pm – 3 sessions - $80 fee; $10 supply fee Minimum 4 - Maximum 10 students in each class This three-session class will give students the opportunity to explore various techniques and processes using acrylics and collage. Former teachers Linda Blount and Patti Russell have taught school-aged children and know how to help them feel comfortable in an art classroom. On the first day the students are introduced to basic acrylic processes; then students will have a chance to create their own unique acrylic painting on a gallery wrap canvas. Day two the students will create a wall hanging with acrylics and collage on burlap. On Day three, students will each create a unique hanging mobile.
